God With Us: A Service of Christmas Carols
Kick off the Christmas season in Corona!
Corona Presbyterian Church warmly invites you on Sunday Evening, December 8th at 5 pm, for our annual Christmas Carol Service. Come to listen, sing, and celebrate! We’ll hear the Bible’s story of Jesus: God’s Son, Israel’s Messiah, and our Savior. We’ll sing familiar, traditional Christmas songs and we’ll celebrate the season with festive treats. Bring your friends and family and join us as we rejoice in the best news you’ve ever heard!

What is a Christmas Carol Service?
Our 5th Annual Christmas Carol service includes familiar Christmas carols (of course!), readings from the Bible related to the story of Jesus coming into the world, and a short message. Services like this have been held for hundreds of years but the most well-known example is the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at King’s College, Cambridge, which has become an annual tradition broadcast worldwide on the BBC on Christmas Eve since 1918. Our goal in this service is to exalt the Name of Jesus, the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us, and to remind ourselves of the real reason for Christmas: God’s gracious gift of his own Son to be the Savior.
Where and when will this be?
We’re meeting on Sunday December 8that 5pm at our normal Sunday morning location, Beth Shalom Messianic Jewish Congregation (2790 California Avenue, Corona). You may wish to arrive 10-15 minutes before 5pm to allow enough time to park and get situated.
What should I bring?
First, think about bringing a friend, neighbor, coworker, or family member!
Other than that, you don’t need to bring anything other than yourself! Everything you need to participate will be provided to you.
